The up-and-comer created quite a buzz during the promotional tour of The Lucky One thanks to her playful yet chic style. Taylor's recent looks favor clean lines with classic silhouettes in eye-catching color and print. With a promising big screen career, and a growing fashion following, Taylor is sure to be a star on and off screen. 

Trend Forecast: Racerback Dresses

Leave it to celebrity stylists to shrug the cold shoulder at red carpet etiquette, styling Hollywood's leading ladies in shoulder-baring dresses that define sophisticated cool. Often worn in a more casual setting, exaggerated tanks (a.k.a. racerbacks) have become a go-to on the red carpet for their effortless appeal.  The minimalist styling is dress appropriate in luxurious fabrics, prints and embellishment. Take a cue from these IT girls and keep the focus on the dress, leaving the rest of the look simple.

Allow me to introduce you to my newest designer obsession - Miss Katie Ermilio. The super talented twenty-something, and granddaughter to Grace Kelly's personal clothier, knows a thing or two about construction and design.  Now somewhat of a veteran, having grown up in the family business, Katie started designing at just 12 years old.  She stays true to her upbringing with precise tailoring; creating a collection that is fresh and utterly feminine in detail.  From the draping to the silhouettes to the sophisticated color palette, Miss Ermilio manages to bring a retro feel to modern-day.

I love a classic piece and that includes houndstooth. The menswear inspired print is always in style but recently, there has been a resurgence of the bold pattern with sightings on the red carpet and the Spring runways. The often androgynous print is usually interpreted in a serious manner with structured silhouettes in stark black and white but, not for Spring. Designers took a more feminine, fun approach to houndstooth for the warmer weather incorporating bright colors with other textures and prints. A new classic - yes please!

Nice Day for a White Wedding

I'm addicted to shopping for wedding dresses. I'm not even engaged but recently, I've found myself getting lost online for hours looking at bridal sites. The bf says it is just another reason for me to spend time shopping online. Maybe it is OR, it could also be part of my not-so-secret desire to be a wedding planner. I have a little J.Lo wedding planner in me, minus the whole hot Doctor boyfriend and Gucci shoes. Anway, it was probably hour four of my most recent online shopping excursion that I stumbled upon the lovely brand known as BHLDN. While the name was inspired by the Dutch word, "to keep," it was a love of all things LOVE that helped create this romantic, fairytale-esque Anthropologie spin-off. Like their mother company, BHLDN offers feminine, vintage looking apparel and accessories that are truly one of a kind. One look and you'll be addicted.

It may still be 80 degrees but Fall is right around the corner and nothing screams cozy like a good cable-knit sweater. What was once a preppy closet staple is now very chic. Designers sent the perennial style down the runway in toppers, crops, light weaves and fur-trims for a more updated look than we've seen in the past. The cable sweater isn't just for roaming the school hallways with your cords anymore.
