Look of the Week

Here is Malin Ackerman wearing all black but pulling it off well. I like the rivet detail on the belt with the sheer top and leather boots - it's very rock 'n roll. The look can be conservative for work when worn with a grandfather cardigan or blazer and be removed at night for a more fun look. Second is a Missoni gown worn by Joy Bryant. This full length gown could be worn as a maxi dress with flip flops to a beach wedding or a black tie party with some heels and jewelry. Two totally different looks that go from day to night!

Fur-fect!

I'm not a promotor of animal cruelty but lately, I find myself compiling a long list of pictures, from Style.com sartorialist, of fabulous woman in fabulous fur layers. Most of the pictures come from past NY Fashion Week and the rest from Paris (of course!)










From a lot of fur to a little, these woman all have such a unique sense of style. It doesn't look like they are copying any fashion pages to achieve their looks and that's what makes me love them even more! The tweed dress with fur sleeves is TO DIE FOR!!!!
