Recently celebs have been taking a cue from the Spring Collections and sporting some much needed color around town. It is a nice change from the grey and black I have been showcasing at work for the past two months. I guess it is easier to wear bright colors when you are in the California sun. Bubblegum, strawberry and tangerine seem to be the most popular shades of pop color and why not, they're so cheerful!

Blue Blue, I Love You
The Fall 2010 Ready-to-Wear shows are among us and I could not be more excited. Among the usual black and grey that is so expected of the season was a refreshing palette of blues. Colors ranged from aqua to navy and everything inbetween. Many designers took a cue from Pantone as they masqueraded turquoise frocks down the runway. The brighter shades are more commonplace in the Spring but I think given the economic climate, color is exactly what we all need.

Aegean Blue creations as seen at Donna Karan and Halston
Jill Stuart, Luca Luca, Monique Lhuillier
Plaid at Jill Stuart - a big trend on the runways, BCBG Max Azria
Some prints by Barbara Tfank. Florals were few and far between among the Fall Collections. These looks are great inspiration when transitioning summer dresses into cooler climates.

Tickled Pink
In honor of Valentine's Day, here are some inspiring pink room. Some with just a dash of pink (sometimes that's all you need) and some with a whole lot of pink.

This is THE most amazing kitchen. There are no words...

I could snuggle up in any one of these beds.

Definitely needing this bathroom and vanity.

Style Star: Reese Witherspoon
I heart Reese. She is America's Sweetheart but her style choices prove she's quite a risk taker who likes to have fun with her fashion choices. Reese was taken under the wing of Nina Ricci Artistic Director, Olivier Theyskens, in the past few years for a stylish makeover. The outcome is a more youthful, brighter look:

She is not afraid to wear color or experiment with silhouettes and lengths and lucky for her, she looks good in everything.

I love these sparkly looks. They're young and rock 'n roller-ish (is that a word)
