Fashion's Night Out

Tomorrow is September 10th, which means Fashion's Night Out. It is the cooperative effort of Vogue, CFDA and NY that brings this free, open-to-everyone event to the city. The goal was to create a fun shopping environment and already almost 1,000 retailers have signed up to participate. There are so many places to go, things to see and celebrities to stalk.

Anna Wintour is everywhere this month thanks to the premiere of The September Issue and so, she'll be making an appearance at Macy's in Queens. She'll be signing t-shirts like the one below. They retail for about $30 but proceeds go to various charities such as The National September 11th Memorial. Get in line early because there's no say how many mini-Anna's will be waiting to tell Ms Wintour their life-long dreams of working for her.

Teen Vogue's Bleeker Street Block Party

Club Monaco's Sweet Treats
What's Happening: The retailer is offering cupcakes and other sweet treats outside their Soho store from the 10-12th and for more icing on the cake, champagne will be offered in all the retailer's stores throughout the city.

If only I lived in NY *sigh* Even my trip was a week too early. Maybe next year...
